I had a keen interest in arts from a young age. I used to make sketches of human faces and landscapes. I earned my first income from sketching portraits in an art festivals. I also teach sketching techniques once in a while. Along with sketching I started photography at the age of 16 which has become my passion now.
Photography
I having been doing photography for more than two decades now. I loved being in nature, traveling and exploring new places. I've had the opportunity to do photography in some beautiful and remote locations. Be it shooting a high altitude landscape, a candid portrait, a desolate jungle or capturing waves of a wild ocean - photography has helped me channelize my creativity and develop a deeper connection with nature and people.
Fine Art Photography
Over the years my work has evolved towards fine art photography - landscapes, seascapes, abstracts and surreals. For me photography is more than capturing pictures - It is a medium that allows me to express myself, my creativity and my spirituality. I keep a strong emphasis on light and composition. I try to give my pictures a deeper meaning which are often accompanied by a meaningful message. Being a spiritual practitioner you can see a lot of such inclination in my work. I’m grateful to God who sometimes lets me see things in a different way.

Spirituality
I am a Kriya yoga practitioner and have been associated with Hamsa Yoga Sangh and Self realization fellowship. I draw great strength and wisdom from this practice in facing and overcoming various challenges of life. I feel blessed to be on this path and it has become an integral part of my life now. I am also involved in a few charitable causes in and around my city. I hope one day I can fully pursue the path of self realization and dedicate my life to charitable work.
Books
I have written a couple of books on photography. These books have selected photographs from what I have shot so far. Every photograph is accompanied by a short story and sometimes a message.

Upcoming book - American National Parks (Part 1)
I am working on this new book about National Parks. This will feature my selected collection from Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks. I expect it to be ready by the end of 2022.
We have some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. I wish that I can dedicate my life to capturing and sharing them with the world.
