A half an hour bone rattling drive on a dirt road will take you to this magical landscape where more than 500 tufas upto 100,000 years old rise suddenly out of the bed of a lake which dried 5000 years ago. A stroll through these tufas is no less than a walk on another planet. No wonder this amazing landscape has been featured in Sci-Fi movies like Star trek and Planet of Apes.
